Atlast It Was A Great Journey !

My visit to Jodhpur

Do you know that feeling?

Feeling you get when you're going to leave your home for almost a month on a big festival? feeling you get just the night before you're gonna leave though you're not prepared for it?
this was the time when everyone was celebrating durga puja and also it was the last garba with my friends because everyone was leaving for their further studies next year Isn’t it sad?
I really wanted to spend those days with them i was not emotionally or mentally ready for my handball national trip to jodhpur.

Then i chose my friends and family over that trip, i tried every possible way to cancel it, I made fake sick report, I took my father to talk to my coach and what not but nothing worked out, maybe it was too late.

The day I was leaving
16 october 2015

Baba bought chocolates and snacks for me, i packed my bag one hour before i was
leaving and then i gave a big hug to my friends and fam and left,  when i reached station I saw my team and everyone was so excited for the trip and I was lost thinking about zillions of things going on my mind.

And the trip starts

Our first destination was bilaspur, there we had to stay for like 6 to 7 days for our
training ( yes these days you’ll go through high level of torture by your coaches huhhh ) we had to wake up by 6 in the morning and practice till 9 then breakfast then rest for a bit and then again practice till evening, those were the days when I can’t even feel my legs but at the end of the day we enjoyed playing our game and also learnt something new from each other.

Jodhpur journey begins

Finally it was the day , it’s the time when we had to show our  hardwork and meet other teams of different states. We were so happy and excited for jodhpur we really wanted to make our school and our state to proud of us.

The worst thing happened to me
I got sick, so sick that couldn’t even move myself from one side to another. My coach took me to the doctor and guess what? I puked in her cabin ðŸ˜“ i remember how i missed my family at that point of time, I couldn’t even attend opening ceremony, they use to serve my food in my bed. I cried and cried because I couldn’t play because of this sickness, i felt so bad that all my hardwork got waste. After 3 or 4 days i started feeling better and finally we were good to stroll jodhpur a bit.

We went to umaid bhawan 5 star palace
Oh my god this palace was so so beautiful just like portrayed on websites so neat, so gorgeous, so historical.

I took this picture when I saw this palace for the first time and I was all stuck, glaring that sight  it was so huge and amazing.

If you ever visit Jodhpur don't miss this place i'm telling you, you'll love it also
there are vintage cars, which i know you wanna see😉

After strolling this insane place we  went to Mehrangarh fort which is one of the largest forts in india.  it was like a heaven,  people there were greeting us by dancing in their folk styles and the view from the top, i can totally see the whole jodhpur from there.

In the entrance of the fort you'll also see this map which shows all the ways of the fort.

These are some antique weapons used by the Rajas of that time .

look at this amazing interior work of the fort ! ðŸ’›

every time i skip a beat when i think about this place.
Isn't it crazy how just a beautiful sight can make you forget all the things you've been through, these walls made me realise that sometimes you gotta sacrifice for the new world, nothing is permanent you have to move forward in life.
You'll lose people and that's the truth about life, everything happens for a good reason, make yourself so strong that no one can break you like these walls.

At last it was a great journey 💕
